In two years and nine months, XboxMB has grown from nothing to the most well-known Xbox 360 modding site on the Internet. Anybody who has modded games for their console in the past 3 years has, without a doubt, downloaded Horizon for themselves and shared its functionality with their friends and fellow online buddies who probably now hate them for having special weapons, unlimited ammo, and god mode in online games 
It has truly been one of the greatest learning experiences of our lives: to develop an application that's used by millions of people around the world and to manage a community that is now one million members strong. Horizon is downloaded by 100,000+ unique people each month, and that number is growing day-by-day!
Below you will find a list of people who have taken time out of their lives to help shape this community into what it is today. But they are not the only ones who have to be thanked! Everybody who has participated in discussions on XboxMB or has contributed to the 360 scene, on any site, in any way has, altogether, shaped the scene into the abysmal pool of technological knowledge that we all have a common desire for.

Microsoft's major Xbox One DRM policy revisions announced today come with one significant drawback - the loss of a previously-proposed 'family game sharing' feature.One of Microsoft's more popular announcements for Xbox One's digital policy was the ability for a player to designate 10 'family' members' accounts, all of whom would then have full access to that players' games library.This feature would have been governed by the console's tight control over game license ownership via strict DRM policies.But with the relaxing of the console's DRM control, the firm has also withdrawn plans for the game sharing feature, among other benefits.Microsoft's president of interactive entertainment business Don Mattrick explained in a statement, "The sharing of games will work as it does today, you will simply share the disc. Downloaded titles cannot be shared or resold."Marc Whitten, VP of Xbox Live clarified to Kotaku, "There's a few things we won't be able to deliver as a result of [the DRM policy changes]."One of the things we were very excited about was 'wherever we go my games are always with me.' Now, of course your physical games won't show up that way. The games you bought digitally will. Yesterday, it was reported that some Gmestop locations had taken Xbox One out of the store database, as one Twitter user noted. Today, Polygon has learned “retail locations around the country” have reached launch-day allocations.GameStop is still taking pre-orders for the console on its website according to Polygon. I tested this yesterday after the tweet was shared around the net, and again today. It’s true, you can still pre-order it through the web.“Due to high demand, GameStop is not taking additional store reservations for the Xbox One Day One Edition,” a GameStop rep told the site. “However, reservations can still be made [online]. In the meantime, the Xbox One wireless controller and top Xbox One games like: Ryse: Son of Rome, Forza Motorsport 5, and Kinect Sports Rivals are available for pre-order at all GameStop stores or online.”Retail managers apparently sent out a nationwide email a few days ago telling store to stop taking pre-orders, and some had even stopped taking launch-date orders already.Polygon called stores around the country, all of which “declined to take Xbox One pre-orders,” the site said.A store manager in California said the location has only been given an allocation of 16 Xbox Ones, yet were given 60 PS4 allocations and for which it was “still taking orders.”A Texas store stated: “There’s no point trying any GameStops. Killer Instinct has received a bit of flack since it was announced for Xbox One, mainly because it’s now a free-to-play game that charges players for additional characters. Everyone gets Jago for free, but developer Double Helix Games has argued that the game’s fight roster has been kept small because gamers don’t want a lot of fighters.Speaking with Polygon, Microsoft producer Torin Rettig said “Most fighting games that come out are disc based games where you get a huge cast of awesome characters, but it is a massive cast. “Some games have anywhere between 30, 40, even 50 characters. And in reality, most players don’t play that many characters.“You just only have so much time to get good at so many characters. So we wanted to take that into consideration and release the game in a way that took that into consideration and allowed players to get in and play the game at the level that they want to play it.”The game will charge you for new characters, but Rettig confirmed that Killer Instinct will offer a one-off season pass fee for all content on offer. No pricing has been revealed.
