Well, me and my mom are starting to look at cars, since im turning 16 soon.

theres a 2000 Audi a6 in my town for little less then 3k. Its really nice! Im not to worried about millage since it will be my first car...

but heres another one i found on craigslist:

what kind of car do u think i should get? Around the $5000 price range

Depends. Considering you are 16, look at something cheap and not too much power to it so you don't completely **** yourself over. Also think about parts to repair, Audi BMW Lexus and Mercedes obviously being the most expensive for parts.

What are you interested in? Coupes? Sedans? V6, 4 cyl, v8s?

mainly sedans..

I also love VW's

Older GTI/VR6 are decently nice - some of them.
5000$ is in the range of some older Mustang,Camaros and Trans-ams.

Bro, go for a Jetta. They seem reliable, cheap, great on gas, and don't look like complete crap like most other cars 16 year olds get handed to them.

it's an audi 88K is low and the A6 is bullet proof.
