I went on Facebook shortly after and saw someone say that they wish Wiz, Drake, or Lil Wayne would have performed. I would much rather have Madonna than a guy who raps about smoking weed and how no one thought he'd make it, a Canadian rapping about how no one thought he'd make it, tells pointless stories in his raps, and made it with Wayne, and another rapper who sounds like **** who can't throw down a good rap to save his life (respectively to each of the above).

Madonna has been around for a while, a lot more people know her stuff, she's not bat**** crazy, and I think it was overall a good choice for the performer.

Deadmau5 is not ideal for the Super Bowl. A wide variety of people watch the Super Bowl, and they're not going to pick someone that is popular in a particular group of people (i.e. they're not going to pick someone who creates electronic music).
