Default Skyrim Editting (PC Version Required)

THIS is the PC to 360 Method I mentioned on another post. (PC version of Skyrim IS required)
(You need BOTH the 360 and the PC version on the same game versions, so if you update the 360 Version, you will need to update the PC version)

Basically how it worked for me:
  1. Transfer Your Skyrim Save onto your PC
  2. Extract the Savegame.dat within the .exs (360 Save you just transfered onto your PC)
  3. Go to the PC game save location *:\Users\*\Documents\My Games\Skyrim\Saves
  4. Put the Savegame.dat there and rename it to Savegame.ess
  5. Load your Skyrim PC version and load the Savegame file
  6. Add/edit whatever you want using the (`) Console Command
  7. Save and Rename the Savegame.ess back to Savegame.dat and inject it back into your 360 save (.exs).
  8. Rehash/Resign and transfer your 360 save (.exs) back onto your Save device.

Doing this on a test save I was able to get 9000 health/stamina/magicka/weight_capacity, 2999999 Lockpicks,Gold,ALL types of Arrows and a Demora Bow.

Doing this method, will eliminate the need try to hex edit (for those who are fed up with trying to hex edit and rely on someone else) ALWAYS MAKE A BACKUP BEFORE DOING ANY EDITING ON ANY SYSTEM. Those having issues, make sure you are NOT using Modio..

To bad this wont let u chance your race to like a dremora or something im working on how to find your race in Hex, i already have the IDs but i think it might be compressed to much to where they are less than 32 Bits

Yea. lol

Well you might be able to. I've been reading and not ALL the Console Commands have been found. So there could be a Command string to be able to change your race within the PC version.

That's just a theory.

Maybe someone else can (However, this is a Tutorial Thread).

As much as I like the thought of it.
I will not. I currently don't have the resources near me to do so. By the time I do, someone might have already helped you with that.
Sorry.

It's fine man, I would get it for PC but it really wouldn't be worth it, since my Laptop would only run it on minimum, I suppose I will just wait till more Hex Values are found

As long as if its capable to run on Minimum settings, you don't need to play it on the PC.
Just load the save on the PC, edit, Save. then transfer back. lol

Thats actually what alot of people are doing that either Can't play the PC version or don't want to.

Good to know, i have been having issues with it, now to find the right update/title update combination to make them both the same version.

Hmm it now seems that my fresh install on my pc is version 1.1.21.0 and the fully updated Xbox 360 version is 1.1.19.0. Can anyone point me to where I'm going wrong?

Honestly, I'm not sure

I only updated both Versions once (TU 1 for the 360 and the First Update for the PC version), From what it looks like to me, is that they came out with another update for the PC. If thats the case try to find the First Update.
