In my Skyrim game, I have a few random items (a random book, 2 alto wines, some giant's toes, and I think a couple of others) that the game thinks are quest items. They obviously are not quest items, as all of them can be obtained regularly throughout the game (alto wine is just about everywhere). Because the game thinks that they are quest items, I am not able to store them anywhere, eat them or drop them. Is there any way to get rid of a quest item without modding the game save? They only have a total weight of about 10, so it's not a huge issue if I can't get rid of them, but the extra storage space would still be helpful.
You can convert the save to PC and use the 'removeitem' command which I have had to do but items marked as Quest Objects don't actually weigh anything even if it has a number next to it. You can drop all of your other items and you will be at 0/XXX.
