[ToXiC x SnIpEr]

I am using the newest version of WampServer, and I have everything installed correctly for localhost. I am having one problem though, when I attempt to access phpMyAdmin, I get an error :

MySQL said: 

#2002 - No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it.

The server is not responding (or the local server's socket is not correctly configured).

I have followed some tutorials on the internet, and I still haven't found a solution. Can someone help?

There are a ton of different things that can cause that error :/

First off, I'm assuming you're running a VPS/dedi, correct?

Are you running a firewall? If so, try disabling it.

Try restarting mysqld, etc.

Make sure you started the phpMyAdmin service in the control panel.

Phpmyadmin is not a service, nor can it be started.
