Hey guys recently got my rgh came with external hdd and will not go past the xbox 360 start up screen with regular xbox hdd

So my question to you guys is where in the hell do i put my title updates at on a exterbal hdd there
is nit a cache folder am i doing something wrong ? Oh and btw im running latest version of FSD.
