Ok THE BEST WAY TO DO THIS IS TO DOWNLOAD A PROGRAM CALLED IT vuze CONVERTS THE VIDEO FILES YOU HAVE ON COMPUTER TO XBOX PLAYABLE AND IT SHOWS UP IN THE NETWORK FOR XBOX ... ITS SIMPLE AS DRAG AND DROP....This software can also do this for ps3,psp,ipod,and other devices..

Don't think so, I use to watch all my stuff through Vuze before my collection got to big. There MIGHT be an option to save the video to your HDD but I've never noticed it.

IT wont allow you to save them to your xbox hdd but all your movies will be saved to your computer and ran throught the network with vuze so you have unlimited room via how much your computer can handle .... its a easy application . it might not fit exactly what you want but for me it works wonders ... i like it because its simple and easy ... you can have any type of video file pretty much .mpk,mp4,avi,iso pretty much everyone one there is and vuze will convert it to be able to play on which ever device you want .... so just try it what is the worst that can happen ... what you wont like it ... then you can uninstall it and try something else .... hope this helps if it does please thanks ...

Yes we can ` t play m4v on xbox, it is DRM, so wo shuold convert m4v to avi or other files. Many m4v converter can help you perfect conversion m4v format such as bros video converter. I think he is good
