Default Xbox 360 HDD Help

My friend tried to transfer data from his 20GB to a 120GB. Now the Xbox only recognises it as a 16GB drive. His PC still recognises it as a 120GB, and it seems to only have partition 2 & 3.

Any pointers?

he can try backing up all of his stuff from his 120 on his computer if it still reads it as a 120 and shows all his saves and what not, then reformat the HDD, then just add everything back on it

Update: Got the HDD off my friend, plugged it into my PC and I'm presented with the following

I mean... I wouldn't have a problem at all if my PC could recognize it... Any advice?

Edit: He's been messing around with it...

He should probably only be messing around with it if he knows what he is doing. It's weird that your computer can't even recognize it. Does his computer still recognize it?
