Default Help with pre-configured xbox USB?

First off, I searched for an answer to this question and didn't see anything, but i might have overlooked it so sorry if i did. My question is that i have a 16GB San Disk Pre-configed USB. When i go to use it in Horizon alot of my files wont show up some of my saves will but i have DLC content on my PC that i'd like to place on my xbox but wont show up in either the Device Explorer or my Xbox memory even though its on the USB. Would i be able to remove the pre-formatting of the USB from my xbox and then re-format it? So that maybe the contents will show up? I have a 1GB USB drive as well and that works fine but it doesnt have enough space for my DLC content. Also im not sure as to wether or not yo need live to format it either. I dont think you do, but im not positive.

Yes just format it using your computer then plug it back into your xbox and format it again for xbox usage.

No because the xbox to my knowledge only has the capability of formatting to FAT32
