I have downloaded content for Fallout New Vegas on another site and I cant tell if it is DRM Free. If someone could help me identify if it is, that would be great. In that case, if it is DRM Free, will my account be banned if im using it while on xbox live?

DRM re free 2 use with any profile and yes they re illegal because did not purchase them.

Yes, they're illegal to just download and use without purchasing.

I don't think Microsoft can tell if we downloaded them off the internet or if we used the disk they usually come on.

Yes you can get ban for using any free content glitch out there. It is marketplace theft

You can't get banned for using DRM-Free content. I do believe there is a chance of getting banned when doing any type of modding, but this is different. You have to know that DRM-Free content comes from GOTY Edition games which you install onto your hard drive with the second disc. That being said, Microsoft can't tell if you purchased the GOTY Edition because it shows up as the regular edition when played. Since they can't determine if you have it or not, they can't ban you for using the content.
