I have had my flash xbox for 3 years and ever since the new dashboard updates it has not been able to read certain legit games , is there any way which i can fix this?

flashing a drive doesnt render retail games useless. depending upon the drive, especially those with replay data support, you need to keep that updated for xgd3 support.

Basically, you're probably running LT 2.0 or something older. You're trying to run XGD3 games on that firmware and it won't work. You need to revert your drive to stock, then update to LT 3.0

liteons especially need to be updated. theres a very very very high chance of flagging if a retail game doesnt read.

depending upon the drive, it may be returned to stock fw by a console update.
