Ok so this week My xbox has been acting extemely weird like it doesnt read games and it makes a weird noise when it reads it so i opened it all up and it was my eye i guess it burnt out and doesnt read games anymore so my friend gave me an extra disc tray from one of his broken xboxs and i just hooked it all up it reads the games but when i load the game up to play it it disconnects me from xbox live and then sends me to the dash board i tried with all my games it happens to all of them so whats wrong??

I pretty sure that the Disk Drive your friend gave you isn't compatible with your Xbox. You need the same type of drive for it to work.

There the same it reads the games but i need to like update games because i cleared my chache and it doesnt let me download

No it is because he hasn't spoofed it to match his current one. You will need to flash your DVD key to the new drive or it wont work.
