Okay so here is the problem i had my xbox open a i was gonna Hotswap i did a few days prier, then i came home and the dvd doesn't work, The laser Attempts and acts Normal, but where the magnet connects It doesn't bother to spin, If needed ill upload a video to Explain it,

Could just be a weak motor, there is a lot of things that can go wrong when hot swapping. Best thing is just buy a drive motor on ebay for like $7 and see if that works.

There isn;'t a way to fix it at all?

If you have a multimeter laying around, adjust the POV if not, just follow Chris' advice

You could buy antoher drive and replace the parts but it would be more hassle than its worth.

1. If you have warranty still use it.

2. If not and you decide to buy another DVD drive you will have to get the drive key from the original drive and put it on the new drive which if you don't have flashing gear or have a friend that can do it will cost you even more.
