i have the exact same problem, and yes i run it as admin, i have win7. i can just launch zombe mod installer from anywhere right?

I found a couple bugs in the startup from old code, you can open it and try downloading the update or download the client again.

i now get the error:

.minecraft folder not found in %appdata%. Please download/install minecraft file in the client, then try again.

has it to do with the .minecraft folder not showing up in the appdata folder? i also dont get a roaming folder, my appdata folder is completely empty. but if i use the option button in mincraft and click on the path to the minecraft folder, my appdata folder is full of other maps...

I believe you have contacted me on AIM and we found the solution was you have multiple user accounts, one you use for minecraft and doesn't have admin privileges named "Blah" and another account named "Admin" with admin privileges, you were running my program under the user "Admin" instead of "Blah" so it was installing to "Admin" when "Admin" didn't have minecraft installed, the fix is to give "Blah" admin privileges then run the program as "Blah".

2 things 1.are u on win7 if not it wont work.2. Run as admin.
