Dude do %appdata% roaming .minecraft bin and see if ur jar file is there

well it is there and dont otherwise how could i even launch the game without it?

I have reinstalled minecraft several times now and i still get the error...

Win 7 and yes i run as admin.. i first had xp on this pc then i installed win 7 over it... is that the problem? do i need to delete the windows.old file??

Run it as administrator:
Right click it > click "Run as administrator".
