you only need one cable and the name of the cable is a Xbox 360 HD VGA AV Cable and just hook that up to your xbox360 and the other end of the cable to the computer screen

ya i use this on my 20in and ya i think so seeing how some people dont know how to do this or what the cable is called

no i dont think you can do with lap top and search the cable up on ebay

It can be used on a laptop. I did it on my friends HP, but you have to go into the settings somewhere. I use this cord everyday cause I play on a 24" Acer flat screen LCD monitor. I cant play on a tv whatsoever.

If you're going to try this on a laptop, make sure your laptop has an input for VGA and not a output. The output looks identical to the input, and is usually what you have.
