Thanks: 1,005 | | | [TuT] How to mod Batman: Arkham City! Now modding Catwoman xp! Update: I can now mod Catwoman's XP. If you want me to mod the xp for Catwoman on your save, post it! In this tutorial, I will be teaching you how to mod your xp in Batman: Arkham City. For this tutorial, you will need the following: - Batman Arkham City Compression Tool - Download
- Hex Workshop - Download
- Your save
First, make sure you have downloaded the compression tool and hex workshop. You will then need to open up your Save0.sgd in Horizon, and once open, click on the "Contents" tab: Then you are going to right click the Save0.sgd and extract it to the Batman Arkham City Compression Tool folder: Next, you are going to double click Decompress.bat, then a box will pop up on the screen for a second. You will then have 3-4 save.decompressed files in the folder: Now, you are going to open Hex Workshop, and drag the save.decompressed2 into it: Once open, navigate to Tools>Base Converter. Change byte order to Motorola and data type to float (32): Now, multiply your WayneTech unlocks by about 4,800 and add your current xp to what you get from multiplying. This helps find your total xp, because it takes about 5,000 xp to level up. Now, if you have unlocks that you have still not used, this may be different for you. So, I have 20 WayneTech unlocks, so I multiply that by 4,800, and add my current xp amount which is 1170. That comes out to 97,170. So now use the base converter and type in the amount you get in the decimal box: Now look at the hex value, and save it for this next step. So now you need to click Edit>Find, and change the type to Hex Value. Put in the value that you got from the Base Converter, change the search direction to down, and click ok. Here is my hex value: Here it is when it finds it: Update: If it's not finding your hex value, just scroll to the very bottom of the save.decompressed2 file, and look for something like: G...G...G.2.A and put your insertion point before the first "G", click in front of the "G", and change the hex! I hope this makes it a little more simple for you to mod! The beginning letter can be an "E-I" just to let you guys know! Now, if you want to change it to 999,999 xp, type in this hex value: 497423F0. Now once you have put in the hex value, save it. Then open back up the Batman Compression folder, and double click compress.bat. Once again, a little box will pop up on your screen, and when it goes away, you will replace your original Save0.sgd with your new, modded one: Now make sure you click Save, Rehash, and Resign! Go out and enjoy your new xp!
*You could always use the base converter to find the hex value for how much xp you want as your total, but I find 999,999 to be the best.* I am sorry if it is hard to understand, as it is was hard for me to explain it, but I have done the best I could. So if anyone needs help, I am here . Post your save if you are having any issues! Credit to: Fairchild from 360haven for the Compression Tool.
