I want to try the month of diamond, however worried that it says recurring. Can you cancel? if i don't like it i don't want to be signed up forever.

Once you've bought Diamond visit the following page and click the "Manage" link.

Yes you can cancel you diamond subscription at any time you like. By going here.

http://www.xboxmb.com/subscriptions/ click Manage and hit cancel and you won't have diamond anymore.
