This thread is just a quick run down, on how to use every tool in Horizon - Gamesave Editors, Profile Editors and the Tools! This thread was orginally posted by TooMuchSweat, big thanks to him.

Gamesave Editors

First of all you'll want to start a game on Alan Wake and once you get past the first checkpoint, save your game and exit to the dashboard. Then go to system settings

> memory and find where you saved your game. After that transfer your save to your USB, insert it into your computer and extract into Horizon using the device

explorer. You can then start using the modding tool to mod your save.




As you can see from the images above there are a few things which can be modded by the Alan Wake tool. You can unlock each level at each game difficulty. Just select

the game difficulty via the drop down menu and press unlock all for the selected difficulty to unlock all the levels for that difficulty. To unlock all the levels for

every difficulty just select "unlock all for all difficulties".

You can also unlock the manuscript pages. You can unlock them individually or altogether - the choice is yours. To unlock them all select "unlock all" or to unlock

individual ones select which episode you want to unlock manually.

The tool also allows you to edit your stats. You can edit your kills by either selecting the max button which will edit the value to the maximum available or you can

edit the number yourself using the up/down arrows or entering a value manually. You can also edit your values for Chests, Radios, Signs, Thermos and T.V shows. To do

this, simply select add all individually for each item or select the big "add all" button to add everything. After you've finished modding your save, click save to

rehash and resign it.

The Assassin's Creed II Save Editor, has just one button Max Money, you cannot really go wrong using this tool.



You can either click Max Money, or enter a custom amount, of how much you want ingame.

Bayonetta

First of all you'll want to start a game on Bayonetta and save your game and exit to the dashboard. Then go to system settings > memory and find where you saved your game. After that transfer your save to your USB, insert it into your computer and extract it to Horizon using the device explorer. You can then start using the modding tool to mod your save.



The Bayonetta tool is easy to use and allows you to edit the number of Halos as well as giving you the ability to give you maximum health. To edit your Halos, simply input a value manually or hit the “max” option to give you the maximum value. To give yourself maximum health, simply click on the “Max health” option so it’s a peach colour. Once you’re happy, click save to rehash and resign.

First, load your "Brink.dat" save into the Brink editor.

You save should load and list the all the dvars for the save



Make sure your File selection is on "0004"



For values like this



1=true & 0=False or for some it could be "1.0" or "0.0"

for dvars like this



can be personal preference, higher the value, higher the speed.

You can also add Dvars to your save for stuff like God mode, Aim bot, etc.

When adding dvars, you must put "seta (Dvar) "Value"

Once you are happy with your settings, click save at the top.

This Editor is similar to the Assassin's Creed II editor, except, it changes from Money to Skill Points.



You can click Max to get the Max Amount of Skill Points possible, or enter a custom amount.

The Crackdown editor is fairly simple to use. Using the tool you can edit the values of "Orbs".


You can edit the values manually or by selecting the "Maximum Values" option. There's also the option to remove or restore Orbs on the right hand side of the tool. If you don't want to neither, keep the option as "unchanged".

The Crackdown 2 editor is simple to use as you only have to edit the values that are available.



There are five skills that you can choose to edit: Agility, Explosives, Strength, Firearms and driving. You can edit each skill level by entering a value manually, 1 being the minimum and 5 being the maximum value.

You can edit your Level,PP, and Money with just a few clicks.

Both tools for both respective games, mod one thing which is credits.
Therefore the tool is simple and quick to use.




To mod simply input a value manually or select the "Max" option. Once happy with your values, press save to rehash and resign.

First of all you'll want to start a game on DMC 4 and save your game after a checkpoint and exit to the dashboard. Then go to system settings > memory and find where you saved your game. After that transfer your save to your USB, insert it into your computer and extract it to Horizon using the device explorer. You can then start using the modding tool to mod your save.



With the DMC 4 editor you can edit Blood Orbs, Proud Souls and your score. The dropdown menu above these three things signifies which level you’re on, for example “Level 2”. To mod any of the aforementioned things, simply enter a value manually or select the “Max” option. When you’re happy, click save to rehash and resign.

First of all you'll want to start a game on DiRT 2 and save your game and exit to the dashboard. Then go to system settings > memory and find where you saved your game. After that transfer your save to your USB, insert it into your computer and extract it to Horizon using the device explorer. You can then start using the modding tool to mod your save.



The only thing you can edit using the DiRT 2 tool is your balance. You can edit your balance manually or use the max balance option. Once you’re happy, save to rehash and resign.

Fable II

First of all you'll want to start a game on Fable II and save your game after the prologue (after your childhood) and exit to the dashboard. Then go to system settings > memory and find where you saved your game. After that transfer your save to your USB, insert it into your computer and extract it to Horizon using the device explorer. You can then start using the modding tool to mod your save

The Fable 2 tool has a few things that you can edit, but is simple enough to use. It has three tabs: User Information, Strength and Skill and Will.





On the User information tab you can edit such things as Money, your renown and your morality and Purity. For Money and Renown, simply input a value manually or select “max”. As for Morality and Purity, you can again enter a value manually or you can select 1 of the three options. Good person - max morality and purity. Neutral - morality and purity at zero and bad person - maximum negative morality and purity, select whatever one you so desire. Also, if you want to allow achievements to unlock through whatever changes you’ve made (maximum or maximum negative morality/purity) then be sure to check the “Can unlock achievements in the bottom left hand side of the tool.

On the Strength and Skill tab, you can edit your strength (brutal styles, physique and toughness) and your skill (dextrous styles, accuracy and speed). To edit each of these, simply input a value manually or select the “max” option to max out each option.

On the Will tab, it allows you to edit the level of your will powers. These include Shock, Blades, Vortex, Inferno, Time Control, Chaos, Force Push and Raise Dead. To edit these, simply edit the values manually or select the “Max All” option. Once you’re happy with your changes, click save to rehash and resign.

First, load either your F.E.A.R "checkpoint save" or your F.E.A.R 2 "checkpoint save" into it's corresponding editor.

I will be using the F.E.A.R 2 Editor.



It should load a list of all the dvars in your save.

These are values for different things in the game like ammo, health, money, etc.

For dvars like this for example,



1.000000=true & 0.000000=false.

Then there are dvars like this,



these you can edit with any value, obviously the higher the number, higher the jump speed. e.g "9.000000"

Here is a small list of dvars that you may want to edit, just scroll until you find them.

1. HealScale - 9.000000
2. SkillArmorMax - 9.000000
3. JumpSpeed - 3.000000
4. BaseHealRate - 9.000000
5. RunAccel - 9000.000000
6. HealthTest - 9.000000
7. SkillAimAccuracy - 9.000000
8. SkillWeaponReloadSpeed - 9.000000

These values can vary depends on what you would like, just try them out.

Once you are happy with your settings, click "Save" at the top.

First, load your Fifa 11 personal settings in the Fifa editor

Should load with all your stats,attributes,etc.



From here, you can edit your wins,goals,etc.

If you would like to max all your physical skills, press the "Max physical skills" button.



If you click on the "General tab" it will give you more options like your name,kit,height, and some skills. Press the "Max Values" button to max the 4 skills in this tab.



Last but not least, the Position skills tab. Here you can edit all the atributes of your virutal pro, if you don't really care and just want them maxed, just click the "Max position Skills" button.



Once you are happy with all of your changes, click "Save" at the top.

The Fifa 12 editor allows you to edit your Virtual Pro.

It has three tabs, Player, Player and GoalKeeper Skills and Position Skills.





The player tab has your pro's personal information and mental attributes. To change your personal information simply input your desired names into the appropriate fields or use the drop down menus to select your preffered foot/height.
To mod your mental attributes, simply drag the slider to your desired level. Note the negative, plus and neutral signs. Obviously putting the slider closer to plus will make that attribute a greater number than if slid towards the negative side.
You can select the "Max Values" option if you want to max the stats out.

On the Player & Goalkeeper Skills tab it has the pyshical attributes and goalkeeping attributes for your pro. Like for the mental attributes use the slider to determine which level you want each attribute to be. Again, you can select the "Max Values" option to max all stats out.

On the Position Skills tab you have your pro's technical attributes. Like above again simply drag the slider to your desired level for each attribute. Alternatively you can again select the max value option at the bottom to max out each attribute.

Once you're happy press save to rehash and resign.

The FU2 editor is broken down into different parts based on settings and objects of the game.

First you will first see this,



Click store, and select whichever slot you campaign is in(probably active slot). You will be presented with more options. If you want to modify game options click prefs, otherwise, click profile.



First you can mod your concept art, change both of those to 1.000000.

Now click Saber crystals, here change each value to 2.000000, this will unlock both crystals. Don't mess with Default crystal.

For cheats, change each value to 1.000000.

Next click costumes, these have either 1.000000 or 2.000000 as the value. The one's that have the 2.0 etc. value are the da60bahJedi, catoflightsuit, rebelshiphero, and the kamino tunic. the FU1 classic costume, just put the value "2".

For trailers, put 2.000000 for both.

For rewards, just copy my settings.







For cinematics, put 1.000000 for each value.

For databank, each value should be 1.000000.

For most cases 1.000000,1.0,1= enabled/unlocked 0.000000,0= Disabled/locked

The Forza 3 tool is pretty simple to use.



With the Forza 3 modding tool you can edit three values: XP, Credits and Level.
There is no maximum vaue option so you'll have to input the values yourself and to your own choice. It's recommended that you don't go overboard and give yourself ridiculous amounts.

First, load your Forza 3 screenshot file into the screen shot editor.

Your car picture should come up



If you would like to save a copy of the car as a .jpeg file, click "extract", and save it.

if you would like to inject a photo of your own to replace the car click "inject"

You should get a message saying it injected correctly.



Once you have injected, click "Save" at the top.

When you open this tool it'll look something similar to this.



Once it's all loading you can now extract or inject liverys, or you can unlocker them all with this button.



Once you've done, click the Save button and your all done!

First off, open your Gears of War 3 checkpoint.

It's pretty simple to use, just select the weapon, and the amount of ammo you want. If you just want max, click the "max ammo" button.

Like the Gears of war editor, you can edit your weapon/ammo for each slot.

If you just want max ammo, click "Max ammo"

Here, you can edit your weapon/ammo for each character for the campaign.

The GTA IV tool may look a bit tricky to use but it really isn't. With a few simple clicks you can have your save game modded with max health/armour and near unlimited ammo.




The GTA IV tool allows you to edit two things: Player traits and weapons.
Editing your players traits allows you to change the values for your players Health, armour and money. You can add your own values or you can select the maximum value option.

Editing your weapons allows you to select a weapon for each category e.g baseball bat for melee. After you've selected a weapon for a category you can edit the values for the ammo for that weapon. Again you can do this manually or by using the max ammo option.

All 3 off these editors are almost identical and very easy to use!



When you open your Gamesave in either of these editors you will see a Weapons Tab and a Grenades Tab and on the ODST you have a Max Health Tab.





On the Halo 3 Editor, you will see that there are 3 weapon slots, this is because you can get akimbo, so you can mod you akimbo weapons. (Swapping the Weapon in game for another gun doesn't let you have infinite ammo on the one you picked up.)
Mine says Not Equipped because I am currently not using Akimbo weapons



On the Grenades a Shields Tab, it'll show you all the grenades, and a Max shields button, the Max Shields button is for Infinite Health.



On the ODST Editor when you load it you only get 2 weapons, your primary and secondary.



Then like the Halo 3 Editor you have a Grenades Tab. Pretty straight forward, just press Max Amount.



For Infinite Health, there is a tab on this editor called Max Health, click it and it'll turn Orange. This means it's active.



Halo: Reach Editor is identical to the ODST one apart from the Grenade Tab names it's abbreviated to Nades and Health



In that tab, you also get infinite vehicle shields, which means you vehicle can't be destroyed. Click it and it'll highlight, meaning it's activated.

Just Cause 2

First of all you'll want to start a game on Just Cause 2 and save your game and exit to the dashboard. Then go to system settings > memory and find where you saved your game. After that transfer your save to your USB, insert it into your computer and extract it to Horizon using the device explorer. You can then start using the modding tool to mod your save.



`The Just Cause 2 editor is easy to use, and allows you to edit Money, Chaos, Weapon, Vehicle and Armour parts. You can input values manually or select the maximum value for all by selecting the “Max All” option. Once you’re happy, simply press save to rehash and resign.

Limbo

First of all you'll want to start a game on Limbo and save your game and exit to the dashboard. Then go to system settings > memory and find where you saved your game. After that transfer your save to your USB, insert it into your computer and extract it to Horizon using the device explorer. You can then start using the modding tool to mod your save.



The Limbo tool is quite simple to use, the only thing it edits is your progress. Simply use the slider bar to select what chapter or how much progress you want to start at in game. Moving one bar will move the other in conjunction in regards to whatever progress that is equivalent to what chapter. After you've chosen what you want, save to rehash and resign.

First off, load your Mw3 campaign save into the editor.

It should look something like this



Now, you can edit things like speed, jump height, and Dvars.

If you go into the advanced tab, it will list all the dvars in the save.



On the left side of the tab, you can add, edit, and remove dvars.

Some example Dvars for semi-god mode would be:

ai fires supression - 0

bullet penertration damage - 0

player damage multiplayer - 0

player sprint unlimited - 1

player melee damage - 0

player radious damage multiplier - 0

player invulnerable to melee - 1

*do not put a dash/hypen when adding dvars

The last tab, Segments, is where you can extract different segments that do different things and edit them.

When you are satisfied with your settings, click save.

First of all you'll want to start a game on Naruto Ninja Storm and save your game and exit to the dashboard. Then go to system settings > memory and find where you saved your game. After that transfer your save to your USB, insert it into your computer and extract it to Horizon using the device explorer. You can then start using the modding tool to mod your save.



The NNS editor is simple to use, and allows you to edit two things - RYO and SP. Both can be edited by manually inputting a value or by selecting the “max” options. The choice is yours, and when you’re done hit save to rehash and resign.

The Naughty Bear editor is pretty self explanatory. You can unlock levels and set the score for each level.



Once you are done, click "Save" at the top.

The NFS: Hot Pursuit tool is easy to use, it edits the amount of Bounty you've got.



A certain amount of Bounty is equal to a certain level. The levels go 1 - 20, clicking Max Bounty on Horizon, will set you to level 20.

You can also add your PC save game - click on the option in the top right hand side of the tool.

First of all you'll want to start a game on Oblivion and save your game and exit to the dashboard. Then go to system settings > memory and find where you saved your game. After that transfer your save to your USB, insert it into your computer and extract it to Horizon using the device explorer. You can then start using the modding tool to mod your save.









The Oblivion editor has many things you can edit such as your player, your skills, in game stats and also your inventory. Note that the maximum values for level is 100 while the max values for skills as well as player abilities e.g Strength, Will power, Endurance etc, is 255. You can also edit your name, gold, hair colour and how much lockpicks you have. Another useful feature is the tool to edit your location this is particularly useful if you want to go the Test Hall which contains lots of items and other things.

The position of the Test Hall is:

Test Hall contents

Unlabelled room (simply said "wooden door to" – this room is not labelled and is small, containing labelled crates and chests that have all of the official items in the game, including many if not all quest items. Sigil Stones of varying effects and power can also be found here, as well as enchanted and levelled items.
Armour warehouse – housing all armour items in Oblivion
Weapons warehouse – housing all weapons
Clothing warehouse – housing all clothing items (including Uriel Septim's attire)
Book warehouse – a library of Oblivion's books
Creature Grove – an open space area with all of Oblivion's animals and creatures in it
Lock pick warehouse – a room full of locked gates
AI testing warehouse – a room with NPCs to test AI functions
Alchemy warehouse – a room with all alchemy ingredients inside it
Container warehouse – a room full of containers
Lighting warehouse – a dimly lit room with an array of light sources to test their lighting effects
Hawkhaven – A test town with at least one guard, a merchant with a lot of gold and some items for sale, and a few various test NPCs, a place to create Black Soul Gems, with enterable test buildings.
Vampire warehouse- small room where you can become a vampire and feed on someone.It is also a "wooden door to".

The editors for player, skills and stats are simple to use and are pretty much the same. Either input a value manually or select the “max” option. The inventory editor allows you to add any item as well as allowing you to edit how much of it as well as it's health, you can use the item's i.d number to add the desired item to your inventory. Once you’re happy with your save, save to rehash and resign. Note that the inventory editor is for Diamond members only.

Plants Vs Zombies

First of all you'll want to start a game on Plants Vs Zombies and save your game and exit to the dashboard. Then go to system settings > memory and find where you saved your game. After that transfer your save to your USB, insert it into your computer and extract it to Horizon using the device explorer. You can then start using the modding tool to mod your save.



This editor is again easy to use and allows you to edit one thing - suns. To do so, manually input a value or select the “Max” option. When you’re happy hit the save button to rehash and resign.

The Resident Evil 5 tool is one of the newest tools to be added to Horizon, and is simple enough to use. When you first load it into Horizon you will be shown with a screen like this




On the left side of the Editor you will see Item and Statistics, the item won't show anything until you click something from the Inventory, Chris's Items or Sheva's Items.



With the Item highlighted on from the list from the Inventory, you can now edit it you what you want. Changing the Item itself, from a Weapon to Ammunition etc, etc.



Once you chose what Class you want, you can now edit the item to whatever you want, depending on what Class it's in.



Once you've chosen your Item or Weapon, you can now edit how many you have of it.



Once your done that, you now go onto edit move of your Inventory, or you can edit Chris's or Sheva's Items, you can do this by click here and choosing a Character or Inventory.



Once your edited them both you can now edit the amount of Gold and Exchange points you have. Gold is used to buy items in game, and upgrade guns etc... The Exchange Points are used to buy Figures of Characters and Monsters you seen throughout the game.

The Saboteur

First of all you'll want to start a game on The Saboteur and save your game and exit to the dashboard. Then go to system settings > memory and find where you saved your game. After that transfer your save to your USB, insert it into your computer and extract it to Horizon using the device explorer. You can then start using the modding tool to mod your save.



This editor is pretty simple to use and allows you to edit your contraband and ammunition.
To edit your contraband just edit the value desired using the up/down arrows or enter one manually. To mod your ammunition select a gun category from the drop down menu and enter how much of that ammo you want using the up/down arrows or by again enter a value manually. Once you’re happy save to rehash
and resign.

First of all you'll want to start a game on Sonic The Hedgehog and save your game and exit to the dashboard. Then go to system settings > memory and find where you saved your game. After that transfer your save to your USB, insert it into your computer and extract it to Horizon using the device explorer. You can then start using the modding tool to mod your save.



Another pretty simple editor to use, you can edit Sonic, Shadow, Silver and the final episode. For each of these lives and money are the only values that can be edited. You can add your own desired value or you can select the maximum value option. After you’re done, save to rehash and resign.

First of all you'll want to start a game on Super Meat Boy and save your game and exit to the dashboard. Then go to system settings > memory and find where you saved your game. After that transfer your save to your USB, insert it into your computer and extract it to Horizon using the device explorer. You can then start using the modding tool to mod your save.






The SMB editor allows you to edit a few things such as chapter unlocks, character unlocks and a chapter editor.

To unlock chapters simply just click on the desired ones to unlock or unlock them all by pressing beat the game. You can also change the value of your total deaths to what ever value you desire. To unlock characters again simply click on the desired ones you want to unlock or you can select unlock all to make things easier and quicker. On the chapter editor you can edit how long you took to complete the chapter, whether it's completed, obtainable and unlocks and whether you've defeated the boss - to toggle on/off simply just click on each option and it will turn orange when toggled on. When finished save to rehash and resign.

The TDU 2 editor allows you to edit quite a few things: Money, Casino chips, Collection Points, Competition Points, Social points and also giving you the option to unlock all places within the game.

It also gives you the option to edit the amount of points you have in areas in the regions of Ibiza and Hawaii.





The tool is fairly simple to use, You can enter values manually or by selecting the "max" option for each corresponding option. You can also unlock all places in game by selecting the "unlock all places" option. Note the disclaimer when using this option:


You can also lock all places by selecting the "lock all" option.

First of all you'll want to start a game on WET and save your game and exit to the dashboard. Then go to system settings > memory and find where you saved your game. After that transfer your save to your USB, insert it into your computer and extract it to Horizon using the device explorer. You can then start using the modding tool to mod your save.



The two things you can edit with the WET tool are your skill and Ammo. You have to edit the values manually by using the up/down arrows or entering the value yourself. Once you’re happy save to rehash and resign.

The Yu-Gi-Oh 5D's Tool is fairly simple to use.

First save with the deck you wish to mod/ edit. Then put your device into horizon and open the Yu-Gi-Oh Mod Tool.



You can do a few things with this tool like unlock all cards like how it shows above. Unfortunately it only unlocks 1 of every card and if you had 2 or 3 of one card it will be reset to 1.



Another option is the ability to change cards in your current deck. If you only have 1 card but would like to have multiple of the same card in your deck you can select a card you do not want anymore and change it to one you wish to add by selecting the card to change and then pressing the drop down bar to select a new card.

If you want to quick search for a card then select on of the cards at the top and from there press the first letter of the card yu want until it shows up.



After you have selected the card you wanted to take the place of another card press the save button and you're done.



You can add as many of the same cards as you want including cards that only allow you to have 1 of them in your deck like the exodia pieces and have a deck filled with them.

Profile Mods

This is a tool which shouldn't be messed with, unless you know what your doing!



Oh yeah, as you can see it says Gamertag, this does not change your Gamertag for free!



The Services should be messed with. Also where is says Development Kit Account, only click that if you have a XDK. Doing so without one will corrupt your Profile.

If you click Password Protected it lets you set a passcode on your Account, so when you sign you have it enter it, or you cannot sign in.



The XUID cannot be edited because if it was you wouldn't be able to connect to Xbox LIVE. Also editing the other two will cut off your access to Xbox LIVE.

When you open your Profile in the Achievement Unlocker, you will get something similar to this.



At the top of the Achievement Unlocker you will see this, it may not be the same, it probably will be a different game.



There are two buttons, "Unlock All Displayed" which unlocks all the Achievements for the Game which is currently highlighted. The other button is "Extract GPD", you'll need this if you are going to inject it to another Profile, or you can mod the game via GPD.



That is the game currently selected, you can select another game from the list dislayed on the left hand side.



This shows all the games currently on your Profile. If you have a lot of games on your Profile and you don't want to maunally search through the list. There is a search bar at the bottom for Game Titles or Game ID's.



If you select a game with a lot of Achievements and only want to unlocker a certain one, you can search it here



Once you select a game and find the Achievement(s) you want to unlock click them and it'll turn yellow



At the top now you will see something similar to this



This shows the details about the Achievement, it's Locked and Unlocked Description and the amount of Gamerscore it's worth. It's now up to you, to unlock it, Offline or Online.

If you choose to set it as Unlocked Offline you will not have to enter a date when it was unlocked, but if you unlock in Online you will. This is called a time stamp.



If you don't feel like doing any of that and your not really bothered about being reset, there is a button in the top right which will unlock every achievement for every game.

The Avatar Award Unlocker is used to unlock avatar awards that certain games include. Things that can be unlocked range from props for your avatar to outfits.

To open your profile simply click open and select the profile you want to mod from your desktop/other directory. You'll obviously have to extract it from your xbox first using a device explorer.

This is the basic layout of the tool.



The layout is very similar to the achievement unlocker, so it's pretty easy to use. On the userbar there is the open, save, game viewing and award that your viewing. On the left side you have a list of games in your library that has avatar awards. To view a games awards simply click on it. Underneath the list of the games is an image of the award that your viewing.

In the middle of the tool is a list of the unlockable awards for the game your viewing with an icon and also a description.

When you have clicked the game viewing tab on the userbar you should get this underneath it:



There are two bars one that indicates how much awards you have unlocked for that game and another one indicating how much awards you have unlocked altogether.

To the left of that is two options - unlock all displayed and also unlock all awards.
Unlock all displayed unlocks all awards for the game your viewing while unlock all awards unlocks every award possible for every game you have in your game library.

When you click on an award you should get this underneath the top userbar:


It gives you the unlocked and locked description of the award and also gives you the option to unlock that specific award and also the option to select whether it was unlocked offline or online. Once happy, remember to select save.

NOTE THAT USING THIS TOOL CARRIES A HIGH RISK OF A PERMANENT PROFILE BAN.

The avatar color editor is a nice and easy to use tool that lets you change the colour of your xbox live avatar. There is a variety of colours that you can choose from, and multiple parts of your avatar that you can change the colour of.

Tool Layout:


To mod your avatar - on your Xbox 360 > Dashboard > System settings > Memory >find what device your profile is on > move it to your USB > Extract your profile using the device explorer and open it in the tool > Change colours to your desire.

To change the colours simply just click the colour already selected and select the desired colour you want. The parts you can change the colour of are:

Skin
Hair
Lip
Eye
Eye Brow
Eye Shadow
Facial Hair
Face Paint 1 & 2

Once happy, simply select save.

The next tool is the Castle Crashers tool. It's basically a game modder but it requires your profile to be extracted and not just the save game, hence why it's in this section. Again it's fairly simple to use.



Above is the basic layout of the tool. You can mod your gold and your stats e.g your magic, defense, strength and agility.

To mod the game, open up your profile by selecting open, then select the values desired using the up/down arrows or by pressing the max function.

When your done remember to click save.

This tool allows you to edit your xp for different classes and weapon attachments.



Be sure to read the for important information.

The game adder tool is an extremely useful tool and is pretty simple to use. It adds game profiles to your game library that you don't already have. The tool has hundreds of games available to add, so if your looking to get more gamerscore than everyone else this tool will come in very handy when usedin conjunction with the achievement unlocker.

To use this tool: on your Xbox 360 > Dashboard > system settings > memory >find what device your profile is on > move it to your USB > Extract your profile using the device explorer > open your profile on the tool > add desired games.

Layout of Tool below:



On the top userbar there is 4 tabs - open, save, game list and queue.

When you click game list it shows you a list of all the games available in alphabetical order. It also shows you the title I.D of each game as well as the gamerscore available with that game and how much achievements the game has that are unlockable.

There’s also a search function in the bottom left hand side to make easier to fins a specific game.

To select a game to add to your library click on the game you want to add and select add to queue, it will add it to your queue along with any other game you have added.

Once satisfied with the games you want to add, click on the queue tab and you should see all the games you have added. You can remove any you don't want and when your satisfied you can click add queue to profile and the games should be added to your profile.
Remember to save before you exit or you'll lose all of your work.

First off you want to open your profile, it will then load your title, emblem, characters, weapons and camos.



Now you can edit everything to your liking.

Be careful when editing your title, emblem, and camos though. Some may be Developer only, and may result in a ban.

The Marble Blast Ultra editor is simple to use and allows you to edit your level time within each level. Below is the layout of the tool.



Open up your profile into the editor, select the level from the dropdown menu and then enter the time you wish to have for the time taken to complete that particular level. Once you’re happy, click save to rehash and resign.

The next tool is the N+ progress editor, which again works like a game modder and is fairly simple to use. The tool allows you to edit your progress and each episode on single and multiplayer.



Above is the layout of the tool. To mod it, open your profile using the open option, and then select the episode from the drop down menu on the right hand side of the tool and check/uncheck the boxes under single and multiplayer to ascertain whether the episodes are unlocked or completed. You can also set the percentage that, that particular episode has been completed to by editing the value on the right hand side. Once your happy remember to click to save, to store your work and to make sure these changes come into effect once you play the game.

This tool allows you to change your gamertag profile, just like you would on Xbox live. It’s straightforward to use and doesn’t require any explanation really. To use it open up your profile on the tool.

It allows you to modify your Gamerzone, Reputation, Motto, Name, Location and Bio. Simply just enter what you wish.



This tool also allows you to modify your “crown”. Your crown is a number which is on your gamer card. It signifies how much years you have been an Xbox Live member.



PLEASE NOTE THAT MODIFYING YOUR CROWN CARRIES A HIGH RISK OF A PERMANENT PROFILE BAN.

To modify your crown, simply just click on the number you wish to have bestowed upon your gamer card and click save once you’re happy.

The next tool is the Red Faction Guerrilla modding tool. Once again it's like a game modder and simple to use. The only thing you can mod with this tool is your XP.



Above is the layout of the tool. To mod, simply open your profile using the open option, once opened mod the value to your desire or press max value which will put your XP to 999,999. Once your happy, remember to save.

The next tool is the Swarm editor. With this tool you can edit your Death Medals as well as your score.



To mod, open up your profile using the open option, then edit the values under each death medal or each level for score by entering a value or using the arrows. You can also select the max death medals and max score functions to max each set out quickly and easily. Once your finished and happy, remember to press save.

Tools

After much anticipation Horizon finally has a FATX. This makes it even easier to use Horizon and all it's tools. Here is the UI of the Device Explorer:



As you can see from the image above, the layout of the tool is great and makes the tool easy to use. At the top of the tool is the user bar. The first bar in the top left hand corner (which is blue) signifies how much devices with Xbox data are loaded. Next to that, should show which device you’re using.

Below that you should see a few options. These are:

Extract selected file - Extracts a file of your choosing from your device to your computer.
Inject new file - Injects a file from your computer onto your device.

To the right of those you should see the “Mod package” option. This is only available when you select a gamesave or profile on your device that has an editor on Horizon. Clicking this will take you to the designated editor within Horizon - This is a lot easier than having to extract the save, mod it and then inject it back into a device.

Next to that is the “Package Manager” option. This will open any save or profile into the Package manager. From there you can change ID’s, or mod it and what not. Again this is easier than extracting, modding and re-injecting.

Under that you have the heading entry and another called info. Basically entry is the device and all the destinations within (folders, files etc). Info is basically what it says “information”. It tells you how much space is left on your device, Profile ID’s of profile, Title ID’s of games, the size of any files within your device and when they were created and last modified.

You can view the following within your device:
Games
Gamer Profiles
Demos
Videos
Themes
Gamer Pictures
Avatar Items
Title Updates
System Items


Lastly at the bottom of the tool on the right hand side, you can expand or contract the tool to your satisfaction. Note that this only works when the device explorer is docked.

That brings me onto the last part of the layout. At the bottom of Horizon you should be able to see the option called “docked”. If it is a peach colour it signifies that the device explorer is docked on the right hand side of Horizon for easier use. If you disable this function however, it will pop out and can be moved around like every other tool.

You can load your HDD using an Xbox transfer/data cable or by configuring a USB drive of at least 1GB in size with your Xbox 360 and using that.

To configure your USB drive, do the following:

Insert a blank USB drive of at least 1 GB in size > go to System Settings > Memory and select the USB and it should prompt you to configure it. It should only take a few seconds, if a message comes up saying it’s not recognised as an official device and may not work properly - ignore it and click OK. Once done, your USB drive should be good to go.

Now on to using the FATX -

To open the Device explorer, there are two ways to do this;

The first is by looking to the right hand side of Horizon where you should see an expandable grey side bar that has the words “Device Explorer” on it. Simply click on the bar to open it up. To minimize it, click the two arrows on the top right hand side of the tool.

The second method of opening it is by going to “Tools” on the userbar and looking for and selecting “Device Explorer”.

Now that you have the tool open, you can start to use it. If you have any devices connected to your computer, the device explorer should have already loaded it automatically, negating the need to do it manually. However, for whatever reason that you’re device hasn’t loaded. Try the following:

Running Horizon as Administrator.
Removing and re-inserting your device.
If you’re using a USB drive, make sure it’s configured with your Xbox 360 (see above on how to do this).

If you wish to mod a save which is on your device using one of Horizons many game modders, it’s simple. Simply open your device, go to the games node, you should then have a list of games which are stored within your device. Games which have a modding tool within Horizon will be denoted by a green circle next to the game title. Once you’ve found the gamesave you want to mod, simply click it and select “mod package” from the user bar. This will take your save and open it in the appropriate tool. Edit your save, and once your happy save to rehash and resign. Once saved, your gamesave should be modded and saved on your device, ready to play on your Xbox. Like mentioned previously, this is a lot easier than extracting your gamesave, modding it then having to inject it back into your device.

Gamesaves which don’t have an editor within Horizon however, will have to be extracted, modded by an outside tool and then rehashed and resigned and injected into your device again. To do this, simply open up your device, select the games node, find the gamesave you’re looking to mod, once you’ve found it click on it and select “Extract selected file” from the tools user bar. You will then be prompted to place the extracted save game somewhere on your computer. Once saved in an appropriate place, mod the by whatever means. Once done, you can open the file in Horizon and rehash and resign if it’s not already been done. Then select the “inject new file” from the device explorer user bar. You should be prompted with a message asking you to select a profile for the game being injected, you can select one or you can choose to skip. Whatever decision you choose should prompt a message that your save has been successfully injected onto your device.

That’s all there is to using the device explorer really, it’s simple to use and a lot less problematic than using a stand alone device explorer.

When the Horizon Gamer Picture Manager has opened, click on "Search for a game".




In the search box, type in the name of the game that has the gamerpicture you want. Once the results are loaded, click "Use this Game" at the bottom.



After you click "Use this Game", you should see Gamerpictures appearing for the game you chose.



Once you see the picture you want in the Selected Gamerpicture box, hit Save and it'll either overwrite your current gamerpicture, or create a new picture pack, depening if you opened your Profile into the GPM.

The Gamercard viewer basically does what it says - view your gamercard. It also allows you to view your avatar as well as your gamer picture and profile picture.



Layout of the tool above. You can search for any gamertag and view it using the search bar at the top of the tool. You can also save the images of your gamercard, gamerpictures and avatar to your computer by pressing save all images. That’s pretty much it for this tool.

The package manager is a useful tool. It's used to view the contents of your profile (GPD's etc). You can also Rehash and Resign, view and change your display and title name as well as your profile, device, title and console id's although changing is not recommended. You can open both profiles and gamesaves. You can also use the “mod package” option to quickly jump to a horizon tool to mod either your profile or a save game.





To use this tool, open your profile or a gamesave using the open option. From there and as stated above you can view title, console etc id's. You can also rehash/resign using this tool, the option is next to the open option and package info on the userbar.

The contents section includes all the files contained within your profile e.g the games in your library, gamerpicture and other things such as GPD's. You can extract files from there or you can overwrite files with modded ones.

The Theme Creator is a tool that allows you to create your own custom dashboard theme. It allows you to upload your own images and compiles them together to make a theme. The four screens that you can upload images for are: Main image, game library, media library and system settings. You can also give your theme a name by typing in the name box and clicking save. You can also view a template which shows how the menus on the dashboard looks with your images for each screen. Note that the optimal resolution is 1280x720



The basic layout of the tool above. To load images from your desktop, select whatever screen you want to upload an image to and then select load image under that image. Once uploaded if you’re happy, select the save image underneath the load option. Do this for each screen and if you’re happy then you can click “Save as” on the userbar or click save to device from the top right hand corner.

Very simple to use, and also very useful. The purpose of the tool is to search for a particular game e.g Deus Ex: Human Revolution. Once you’ve searched the game you will be provided the “Title ID” from the tool.
Here’s the layout of the tool:



Basically to use the tool you input a game name into the search bar, click search and the game should appear below the search bar along with it’s Title ID. It’s cover art should also appear on the right. If you want your computer to cop the Title ID number, click on “Copy Title ID” and it should copy it to your clipboard, ready to paste wherever. That’s about all there is to that tool, it’s quite simple.

I like this question, it's a very easy program to use, but when new members come and join up, with no modding experience at all, and they don't want to get banned. Or mess their Gamesaves up etc... They can look here, to see how to do it properly.

Very informative topic, glad someone like yourself is actually capable of taking the time necessary to creating a thread similar to this one. This explains a lot of tools on Horizon, I'm going to look back at this thread whenever I need it for references.

Also, some of the older members who have used Horizon before will find this helpful. Some tools are more complicated than others and people can use this thread as a reference point if they need help. A lot of people, myself included are not really sure how to use the account editor to it's fullest extent or what it does, people will improve their knowledge and understanding of the program by looking at this thread as well. It also helps keep the forums a little bit cleaner as it saves questions being asked.

Anyway, great job so far guys it's shaping up very nicely. Can't wait to see the finished product.
