Default Windows 8 issue
Horizon is not working with Windows 8 preview. I've downloaded Horizon a few times and tried to run it as admin but still no luck. It gives me an error screen saying, " The application was unable to load a required virtual machine component. Please contact the publisher of the application for more information."

If anyone can help me please reply.

Horizon does not support Windows 8 at all at this moment. You'll have to use an earlier OS.
