The link you posted doesn't actually work, but I did notice it's about the forza 4 editior which currently doesn't work because of a update in the game, you can try messaging "Unknown_V2" your save so he can take a look at it though, should help speed up the process of updating it.

I don't actually understand the problem, are you sure you didn't just make a back up and that's why it's still on your desktop also, or you copied it from your desktop to your hard drive/usb instead of moving it?

This is what's on my desktop - Livgroups.bak, and Livgroups.bak.bak - I beleive I moved the file to my flashdrive and then placed it on my xbox hdd. Its just my vinyl groups aren't loading.

When I go to settings>storage>Hard Drive>Games and Apps>Forza 4 I see my "Khaos Coronet LAYER GROUPS" (which I moved to flashdrive then moved to xbox hdd)... but when I go to play the game my vinyl groups don't show up Hope this clarifies some more... Thank you for the quick response btw

Edit:Instead of my vinyl groups showing up I get "No Saved - No saved vinyl Groups found. Would you like to import groups from your Forza Motorsports 3 saved games?" Just like the first time I played the game.

I'm thinking that If I could get the .bak file to work on Forza 4 I could get all my vinyl groups and designs back... Just got to find a way to do that. Hmm...

Are you still having this issue? Sorry no one got back to you in time. Trying removing/disabling avast, disable your firewall and reset your internet connection.

If that doesn't work try running it as an Administrator.

Sorry man, didn't see your post, try this;

Right Click Horizon, than click properties at the bottom.
Once you have clicked that, go to compatibility and go to Compatibility Mode.

Check that box and select Windows XP (Service Pack 3)

It should look like this:

Id start with a PC reboot then see if it works.

Also, make sure your save and profile are not being used by ANYTHING ELSE, even if its not being used by horizon, etc do u have a different manager like xport360 or modio?

If not and a pc reboot doesn't help id using task manager to see if anything might be using it that sounds suspicious..
