What anti-virus do you have?

Disable that and your firewall for the moment.

Try running Horizon then.

If that doesn't work, post back here.

avast how do i turn off firewall

I take it your using Avast!.
Disable real-time protection.

Click the taskbar icon arrow (Located bottom right of start bar) and right click the Avast! icon and click 'Disable RealTime-Protection'.

I recommend you uninstall Avast! too, because it blocks Horizon by default!

Just found this..

Right- click on the avast! icon in system tray (looks like this: but orange in color starting with v5). Select avast! shields control and there will be options to disable avast for 10 minutes, 1 hour, until the computer is restarted or permanently.

C:\Users\YOURUSERNAME\AppData\Local

Delete the folders

AVG / Norton .. there is a bunch in the downloads section.

Edit the bit that says 'YOURUSERNAME' to your computer username.

Once that's done, re-run Horizon and try to use the tool.

Click "Yes", then try using Horizon again and it should work. You can keep Avast if you want just remember to disable it when you want to use Horizon.
