yea some moms are crazy like that i bought a spare xbox that i hide in my cabnet this way if she throws it away i just have another lol. My dad suggested to my mom over skype to throw it away and take a hammer to it if my grades didnt rise(my grades are good now and wee on good terms) and he wasnt spoken to for about a month infact i muted his ass whenever he tried yelling then typed to him saying why you yelling to a computer only to make him more ****ed as stupid **** like that ****es me off. take initiative what your 14 right now right i had to convince my mom on getting a jtag at that age but in the end i found a guy locally and payed him with cash instead of paypal.

I just going to tell you what I did... about 3 years ago when I knew NOTHING, about Xbox, Jtag's or X360 Modding..

I had the same problem as you did, the way I got one, was saying I could make money off it.

Secondly, I told her she could play Mario and Sonic.


Just think of things she would like to do on it, such as old-school games ETC.


I said a lot more funny things aswell, but then again, I knew totally NOTHING, about modding, jtags, most of that stuff back then.. haha.... and you know what the funny thing is? .. I broke it nearly a week later for leaving it on.


Just a note.. if you get one... make sure you know what your doing.

I don't care what Chris or anyone else thinks about whether it's "worth it". Modded Xboxs are great and free games forever is awesome but if you are only 14 and you don't even have a job and live off a few dollars a week, buying a Jtag is not worth it. I'd wait until you get a real job and can easily afford it. Then you can have your own Paypal or credit card and you won't have to ask your mom anymore.

you can get a real job its called work at a hell place called walmart or a grocery store i worked there for almost 2 years and its hell but you get paid you need to be 14 years old to work at a grocery store you only make 7.64$ an hour or more if you work at target or walmart to give me bs
