Alright well I finally finished downloading a game, but I have no Idea what to do with it.

I'm use to just getting an iso file and burning it to a disk, but in this case I have a bunch of files,

Do I just take all of those files and put them into my games folder on my hard drive?
There is also a .rar file called nog-gow3.rar am I supposed to un-rar it? Or leave it in the rar format?

I'm a total noob

Maybe make a copy of those files and make a bootable iso disc using magiciso.

un-rar it there should be a couple files in it
then put those fileson a usb
go to xex menu
go to your usb.
and click default .xex

I didn't read the part that stated they were stilled rar'd. Yes you have to unrar it for the game to work.

So I move all the files onto the jtag, or just the ones that are in the rar?

You need to unrar it first. Then the files that are unrared you move over to you jtag. When they are on your xbox look for the default.xex and click it to start the game.

Those are the files that got extracted. Do I just put the first 5 in, or all those others too?

I would put them all on your jtag just to make sure.

So you downloaded Gears of War 3... You Un-Rar'd it and now it's in that folder. Inject every file into your jtag. Took be about an hour.


Then run "Default.xex" The other xex doesn't load the game.

Also a heads up.. when you get to the part where your defending the fort from thousands of locust... It gets stuck. you can't get past that part it doesn't load the next part.
