I know this is a stupid question but my friend thinks you cant system link with 2 different dashboards.

No system linking between old and new dashboards. The new freeboot will either not be released.. Will be released ONLY by the developer to him and the other workers and not distributed except at an extremely high price; or no new freeboot for jtags. Those are the only options. So if you want to Jtag and make money by system linking.. Won't work.

But is it possible for the jtag to have new dash and stay offline and system link with a regular 360 that has the new dash aswell?

I personally don't own a Jtag but the whole point is that a Jtag can't have the new update or it overwrites what it was meant to do...A Jtag has the old dashboard, with a freeboot to load up the new dashboard and exploit games I believe. So a "jtaggd" new dashboard is impossible until the new Freeboot comes out.

if u have an extra xbox dont update it and maybe u can use usb to transfer profile and sytem link jtag and tht xbox

you CAN systemlink with different dashboards! dont believe me? i can prove it by infecting myself and hosting a private match. Anyone who has been posting its impossible obviously should not answer these kind of questions and are misleading other members.
