Default Setup XNA for JTAG

Download and installation.
Download and install Visual C# 2010 Express. Once complete, download and install XNA Game Studio 4.0. When finished, download and run Auto Xbins and navigate to Xbox 360 > Development > XNA and download the zip.

Setup and configure.
Extract the downloaded zip onto your desktop. You have two options to install.
  • Open Horizon and connect a official Xbox 360 device now drag the 584E07D100000000 file into the device explorer and your done.
  • Plug in a external hard drive and drag all the files exept 584E07D100000000 and readme into your a directory.
Now start up your console and go into game demos on the dashboard if you followed the first step or start a homebrew dashboard and find the default.xex file you copied into a directory if you followed the second. Start XNA and note down your key. Go onto Windows > Start > XNA Game Studio 4.0 > XNA Game Studio Device Center > Add Device > Xbox 360. Call it "Jtag" then click next and enter the key you noted down and click next, it should test the connection and then say success.

Notes and thanks.
You can now develop XNA on your Jtag! Thanks to Natelx/Nateleroux.
Find Auto Xbins yourself, I can't provide a link.

Awesome. Does this require a certain dashboard? I'm currently running NXE.

XNA is not the same as a Dev Kit. I will release another tutorial soon for Dev on Jtag. Then you can mod Forza. XNA is for Indie games based on .NET.
