This restriction does not square with the stated terms on the download. When users download the add-on, they are told, "You can use this item on the first Xbox 360 console you downloaded it to. Access to this item will also be granted to all users on this first console." We've inquired with Activision regarding this issue, and will let you know when we've heard back.

Thats the point of ELITE. If you have ELITE you get the maps, if you dont, you dont get the maps.

You should at least be allowed to play on another console that you rightfully own.
I'm not buying Elite for every console in my own, that's just dumb.

It "works" on every console. The maps simply doesnt activate unless your premium.

let me reword that: The DLC is the same as any other DLC. The maps wont activate unless your premium. I have 3 consoles ive downloaded the maps on each of them and it works fine for MY elite account.

From the article I read it said it wasn't.
Expect Activision to get a earful or even a fine from Microsoft. Read the last few sentences.

Either way, Microsoft clearly states that this download can be used by all profiles on the first console.

Season pass dlc works for everyone on that console...
Its Activision milking people for more money.

This is so stupid, My brother cannot play on the maps because I have premium and not him, I hope our Elite gets extended by 30 days again for their screw up lol

What do you expect? The company only created the Elite service to take more money out of your pockets. The "Call of Duty" franchise is one of the biggest series within the gaming community, which means they are racking of tons of cash every day. It's pretty sad to see them take advantage of the situation, but it's not a big surprise to me. If their main concern is trying to squeeze out as much cash as they can, you know they planned this way before it was released. "Lets make it to where the maps can only be played if your account has the subscription," doing that will make family's with multiple account pay us more money!
