Hello, i have had a modded xbox for about 4 years but it has been somebody else flashing it, but i figured it is time to start modding my own xbox. I know how to get all of the games and stuff, just the xbox itself i have absolutely no knowledge on.
These are just some questions i have to ask and any response would be awesome.

1) I already have a USB to SATA kit that i bought online to connect my iHAS324-B burner to my laptop, so would i be able to use this kit for my Lite-on drive? An example of this product is here:

2) If you haven't caught on, i have a laptop so would i be able to flash it on a laptop and what tools are needed to flash the drive on my laptop?
My specific laptop is a toshiba laptop satellite c655 and a link to the exact laptop is Toshiba Satellite® C655-S5049 15.6" widescreen Laptop | Laptops | Computers | us.toshiba.com

3) Does anybody know a tutorial that is current and up to date that has all of the downloads needed like jungleflasher and the other downloads that can flash a Lite-On drive?

No you cannot use a USB to sata, you need an x360 usb pro if you can't use a sata. You will also need a CK3 probe v3

well with the sata situation, i have the connection for the iHas drive which connects the SATA end to a little box which then connects to the USB port on my laptop, thus allowing me to use my iHas324-B drive on my laptop. I was thinkin that i could just take the SATA cable out of my iHAS drive and plug it in to my xbox Lite-On drive, this is not possible?

It is but it wont work. C4eva has made it very clear you either need a via sata card or x360 usb pro.

ok Chris, thank you very much for your help, as i am researching this i see that an x360 usb pro is about 50-60 dollars, do you know where i could find a cheaper one?

Ebay, that is going to be the price for a new one. You also need a ck3 probe v3 for liteon
