Ok, so I have a lite-on x360 drive. It's been flashed before from a shop but I was wondering if it's possible to upgrade to lt 3.0 without the probe?

I heard it's possible to upgrade to lt 3.0 without a probe

I have the "DG-16D2S"

1. you should read the rules. Name you title better, you will get faster reply's. (I'm not mini modding, just helping him out)

2. Do you have a Key.bin?

you need the key.bin if you arent gunna probe it if u dont have the key.bin or dummy.bin there is a tutorial on the forums here to make a cheap probe and its really easy

Yes you can. Even if you do not have the probe or key.bin

In Jungleflasher press the Dummy from KeyDB button


Then type in the barcode number on your drive. It should grab it pretty quickly and will extract all of the files to where ever you want. It will also load the dummy into the Firmware Tool 32 tab and all you have to do is set the LTPlus-0251-v3.0.bin as the target, spoof, then erase and write

No probe needed. You don't need to open the drive or anything. If you have the newest Jungleflasher, go to the documentation folder and find jftut1.4.4.pdf
Then go to page 153.
That's how you do it if you need anymore help.
(EDIT: This doesn't explain what to do if it can't find your key. Maybe just read what I posted above instead)
