is there anyway i can make a program open like google chrome when i hit a button? im taking vb right now, so if you can do it in that, it would help alot

I'm guessing you would need to use the correct directory, so something along the lines of C:/User/Programs/chrome.exe

You could set a string and make an openfiledialog select the file and make the openfiledialog save the location and then shell("stringthatyouset") and that will ensure that they always open the right one, incase they installed it differently.

was using pseudocode but whatever chris you can close this now if you want.
