Thanks for the tutorials! These should be very helpful for me, because for the major that I plan on going in to (bioinformatics) it is helpful to know at least some programming. I currently know none. I was considering taking a course on programming offered by my high school, but from what I've heard it is not very good and shouldn't be taken by someone with any serious interest in learning how to program. Hopefully I'll be able to learn a bit from watching these videos (I'm only a junior, so I still have plenty of time to learn).

Thank you the two 'Austins' for the enlightenment ... Age ... Well ... MMMMM ... I remember the time when my best mates Grandmother got the first Television Set in our village, and 11 of us piled in to watch it, I think it had a 12" Screen, the Best everyone else had was an enormous valve radio, and Winter entertainment was the Radio (Radio Luxembourg) and a jigsaw, not much else in those days. Studied Electronics at Uni, Thermionic Values and Mercury Arc Rectifiers in those days, transistors were very new and extremely expensive. I started seriously programming in 1979, at about the same time I got my first 8" Floppy Disk Drive a massive 250KB of Storage, moving to twin 5-1/4" (40/80 Track Switchable) Drives 360KB/720KB Storage, started with Zilog Z80 Assembler, moving over to Motorola 6502 Assembler in 1981, wrote my first levels game in 1982 - and did in fact port it over to a Java(1.0.2) Applet in about 1996 - and later becoming an Atari ST(68000) Guru, certainly a lot more fun in those days, but really the only thing I ever really wanted in those days was a Fender Statocaster, but those were like 'Gold Dust' in the UK then, due to American export restrictions, but my dreams did eventually come true ... Hope that was enough enlightenment ... cause' fraid thats all you're gonna get ... Creepy Bro - Creepy ... But ... Keep up the Good Work ...
