Default VB to PHP Communicating Securely

Well I need to find a way to securely communicate with some PHP files on a server for logins, and functions ect. I haven't had much experience with doing things like this I do need quite a bit of help. If you are willing to lend me a hand or give me some useful examples or links to some sites on how to do this please post. Thanks.

I think this should help you. More secure communication between PHP and .Net

I think it is in C# though, if so try translating it.

That's not secure because the IV is always the same.

The best thing you can do to make it "secure" is to store information on the server that the program needs to run. When you login, that data gets sent to the program. Make sure it's all encrypted though (AES). You also need to protect the program itself from being reflected.

I just saw that in the thread, didn't read everything.

It is still better than a plain string.
