IMO I would get rid of the green borders and the green top, I would make that dark grey/black or something. Also the phone/ipod app icons are cheesy looking..

I would make several different versions and post them up here so we can vote which ones best.

For all the icon's on the top bar, what do you think would be a good color if I make the bar black. Should I make them Green or a different color?

I would go with black just to cut down on green, plus i think the more black and grey would look nicer kinda like the forum background and color's just not white.
