Default How to edit your windows experience rating

this is a tutorial on how to edit your windows experience index

in this image i have already changed the numbers to the maximum that you can get

to edit these all you have to do is go to C:\Windows\Performance\WinSAT\DataStore where it may look something like this

you then need to go to the bottom and find the "formal.assessment(recent)" file and open it in notepad where it should look like this

you then search for the individual components which are "memoryscore", "cpuscore", "graphicsscore", "gamingscore" and "diskscore" and after each of these is a number that you are able to change.

once you have changed them save the file (not as a .txt) and then go and refresh the rating where it will then go from the original numbers to what you changed them to.

this is my first ever tutorial so if you need help with this then just comment here and i will get back to you

EDIT: To reset the score after you have changed it just delete all the files that are in the folder "DataStore" and then re-run the assessment

this is my original score:

before more of you ask: there is no point to this, its just if you want to look good infront of your friends

Cool, still doesn't change the fact if you scored low originally changing scores doesn't make your pc more badass..

If my friend did this, I'd say, lets see you run Metro 2033 on the best settings.

like i said before its just if you want to fool your friends into thinking you have a bad*** computer, if you know what parts are in your computer then there is no need for the rating at all

Why would you want to edit something like this? If your computer sucks it sucks end of story.
