Well recently it seems as if MOTM has been dying and I'm not really sure why. So I am coming to the community ask for your thoughts and ideas on MOTM. Here you can suggest any changes you want for MOTM, they must be reasonable though.

Make it so that the evidence has to be in the current month. It's boring seeing people post evidence from a few months ago, it eliminates the purpose of the badge.

Requirements for people to be able to vote. So no one can create multiple accounts to vote.

@Sam, that basically means they would have to nominate at the end of the month. So maybe like the current month and prior?

I don't see how this would 'excite' MOTM, it would only make it harder to vote for people. The only way I can see to get more people to vote, if that's what your asking, is to do some kind of a giveaway for voters. Say, everyone who votes has their names entered in a draw for a month of Diamond or something.

I agree with Sam, all evidence should be for the month. To many times have I seen people use evidence from months ago. It takes a away the purpose of member of the month. Also members shouldn't be allowed to just quote someone else's post and say "This" , they should have legitimate reasons themselves and not be lazy. I also agree with Dave, with need some sort of requirement to stop post boosting, nothing to big, something like 50 posts etc.

Also maybe make the prize for member of the month something better. Have a spot on the homepage to with something like "This Months MOTM is [insert member}" and have a snapshot of their profile.

Voting should take place in the diamond section, like HF does.
Only Diamond members can vote, but normal members can nominate people.
50 post requirement to be able to nominate, anyone with Diamond can vote.

Ok, I suggest, that ppl. can get MOTM only 1-2 times!

-No more poll voting, only posts, prevents multiple accounts like Dave said.
-When nominating a member for MOTM the threads that are provided with your nomination posts have to have been posted within the nomination month.
-No member can be MOTM more than 2? times.
-Have some kind of award given with MOTM

Just some suggestions, if it was my choice I would have MOTM removed, way too much bias for a fair game.
