Recently my games that I burn get no errors whilst burning but don't work on my xbox.

I have iHas drive and user the verify option.

They only work if I install it to HDD using an orig. disc, which kinda ruins the point on flashing a drive.

They sometime say "Okay Game" on dash, then if you restart the say "Play ...".

Most games don't get past the black startup screen before displaying the "Can't reed disc" error.

The same happens when I try install then to my HDD, never get past 5%.

Any help would be appreciated.

Well i could depend on a number of things.

Make sure you flashed your drive correct.

What kind of disks your using.

Thats all i know hope this somewhat helped you.

As long as there DVD disc's with the correct amount of gig's then it should work (also if you flashed it correctly)

Not true, if you are using low quality disc that could be your issue. Don't be cheap you can get mkm-003 for $1 each. Are you on the latest firmware?

You need to use dual layer verbatims. They're the only ones that I would completely trust.

Also make sure that if you are ripping the games yourself, that you are using the newest version of Xbox Backup Creator. Also, make sure to run all the games through the newest version of ABGX 360 before burning them.

He is correct in the past I have experienced the exact same issues and had to install my games from orig disc to HDD to play from a burned disc of the same game. Resident Evil 5, Transformers, Terminator Rise of the Machines, Need for Speed. etc. The disc that caused this the most was the cheap ass Memorex; out of all the Verbatims I have used may have wasted only 5.

Yup dual layer verbs are the way to go, ocassionaly i can get a Aone plus gold disc to work, but it is rare, and over the past 100 games i have burnt with Verbs i have had just 1 game that did not work, and im pretty sure that was something i did wrong.
