Default Good Graphic Design Computer?

Im looking into getting a good Graphic Deign computer for using mostly Photoshop, C4D, After Effects, and Sony Vegas. I was wondering if anyone new if i should buy a whole computer(and which kind) or build my own. Under around $1100.

I would build a computer and go for a good processor for rendering and stuff, if I'm correct, get alot of ram, and instead of a gaming video card, get a workplace video card that specializes in that stuff.

Okay...Any ideas on processor and stuff. I'm for the most part sure its gonna be a PC cause i hate the ways macs are. I have like no clue on good parts that i would need for making it able to have at least 8gb of ram.

Yes RAM would be very helpful seeing as the programs are very large.

Didn't add a video card, as I can't think of a workplace one that would do. But this would run really well. Maybe Thor can edit it or someone else that knows what they're doing to add the video card to increase overall performance and to low the price.
