Most people are angry about the used game and always connect to the internet once every 24 hours to verify you own the games linked to your profile. This means, if you go out somewhere where there's no internet connection, you're ****ed. Most people like to bring Xbox to group activities, etc, so this could hinder that. Also means they're cutting out all their dial-up buyers, and people with no internet in general which is a bad thing. Just because Amurica has high speed of 25mb/s average almost everywhere, doesn't mean the rest of the world who owns an Xbox does.
As for used games, people say it's true people say it's not true. There's a lot of rumors that a game disc will only be allowed to "install" onto one profile. What this means is no borrowing games, used games, etc, without paying a "Reactivation fee". That'll hinder every market, including ebgames/gamestop.
