Got dual monitors running off the same card now too. But my card doesnt gert hotter than 60*C which is good i think. Second monitor is just running CPU usage, Network meter, GPU meter and speccy on low res. going to but a good card for first montor and another for main monitor.

saw your post and was going to say, you can save 10-20fps by turning down the shadows.

Shadows are the hardest strain on the gpu beacuse it has to render it constantly with the destruction in battlefield 3 its even harder.
