Go to this link and scroll down a little until you see "Xbox 360 System Update 16202" and click it to download. I think it needs to set a cookie before it'll download.

Indeed. I've messed up a console before myself a long time ago simply because I wasn't paying attention and typed something wrong in the console when updating my kernel.

You just need to chill and make sure you do the steps correctly.
