Yes, it would, but not for games. Games never really use above 1-2 GBs. You'd only really need the extra 4 if you plan on running a lot of big programs simultaneously (Photoshop, Vegas etc).

Both look good, but you might want to find one with 4GB of RAM and use the money saved from that to upgrade your GPU.

They're all gonna be as safe as each other, the only real difference is speed.

MySQLi comes out the fastest out of most SQL databases right now, PGSQL is slower, but more configurable. And SQLite...

When you say either do you mean either of the Xonars, or either the Xonar or the X-Fi?

Monitor doesn't support it, besides DVI and HDMI are almost exactly the same, quality wise. HDMI just carrys audio too, which has rarely worked for me in the past.

I'm still thinking about...

While you're waiting you can set up a local firewall rule. If you have an Anti Virus with a firewall that comes with it, you'll have to do it through that (I can't help with that unless it's ESET...

Look for something along the lines of 'Services' or 'Firewall rules' probably in like 'Toolbox' or something.
